Machine Concepts

Jon Pope has been developing machine design concepts since his senior year in Industrial Design School in 1991-92. Whenever allowed, his project subjects were always heavy equipment orientated. Even his senior design thesis was a 110 ton cab forward concept bulldozer. During his professional career designing heavy equipment, he has continued to develop machine concepts on his free time. Here is just a small sample of Jon Pope’s favorite machine concepts over the last 15 years that were done just for the fun of it (is there really a demand for two 210 ton bulldozers coupled together?) or created for magazine covers and articles.
